Testomat is a brand of online water hardness and alkalinity analyzers manufactured by Heyl Neomeris (Germany). Operating on the principle of automatic colorimetric titration, the devices instantly detect hardness leakage at water softener outlets and boiler feed lines. The product portfolio consists of the Testomat EVO (titration with piston dosing pump, SD card logging, RS232), Testomat 2000 (industry standard), Testomat 808 (compact limit value control), Testomat LAB (laboratory precision), Testomat ECO (carbonate hardness) and Titromat (alkalinity titration) series.

What is the difference between Testomat 2000 and Testomat EVO?
Testomat 2000 is a classic, industry-standard water hardness titrator with 2 limit relays and optional 4-20 mA / RS232 cards. Testomat EVO, on the other hand, is the successor to Testomat ECO and offers precision titration with a piston dosing pump, graphic LCD, data logging to SD card and an RS232 serial interface; the 0.05–25 °dH range is selected according to the indicator type.
Which parameters do Testomat analyzers measure?
Depending on the model, it measures total hardness, carbonate hardness (p-value and m-value), alkalinity and silicate (SiO₂). The Testomat series works on the principle of colorimetric titration, while Titromat works on the principle of acid-base titration.
