Iwaki is a Japan-based manufacturer in the field of metering pumps and magnetically coupled process pumps. On the metering side, it manufactures electromagnetic (solenoid), motor-driven and mechanical diaphragm pumps; on the process side, it manufactures magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps. The magnetically coupled design does not require a mechanical seal on the pump shaft; this eliminates the sealing risk with corrosive and hazardous chemicals.
As Iwaki’s distributor for Turkey, Mikron selects the model according to your application, commissions the pump, calibrates it and services it. In the water treatment, pharmaceutical, food, surface treatment, cooling tower and chemical sectors, we determine the pump suited to your process conditions (chemical, flow rate, pressure, temperature) from among more than 40 models.

What is the difference between Iwaki metering pumps and process pumps?
Metering pumps (EH-E, EWN, LK, IX, etc.) perform precise chemical dosing at small flow rates; their mechanism is diaphragm- or solenoid-based. Process pumps (MD, MX, MDE, MAG, etc.) transfer corrosive liquids at higher flow rates; thanks to their magnetically coupled construction, they have no sealing gasket, which lowers maintenance cost.
